Superhero Day

Chick-fil-a had their annual superhero day. Last year I was VERY pregnant, so it was nice to enjoy it with two little boys this year :)

A Little Home Updating

We have been super busy updating some things around the house. Since we've refinanced, we're trying to get some stuff done that migh have been put off before. We're going to be in this house a bit longer, so we want it as close to what we want as possible!
first a new sink and faucet to (FINALLY)
replace the dripping one. new countertops
and backsplash are on the list, just
awaiting the money fairy :)

redoing all the flower beds

.....adding to the bottom to make it look a little more
substantial. this is by far my favorite imporvement!
it has made our house look so much bigger and
brighter

Fun in the Sun

Or, in this case, as much fun as we can have while staying cool! They say this summer is cooler than last, but with triple digit temps, it's still hot! Not to fear though, we will still keep the ideas coming!
the boys' footprints: we made these
using the recipe found at The Imagination Tree

baking soda play: fill a pan with baking soda, add
some food coloring to vinegar, give a kid a dropper
and viola.....

mini volcanoes! you can alos mix the
vinegar colors in the dropper for a
color mixing activity
