This isn't your typical closet makeover. In fact, you might even call it a closet repurposing! Samir has two closets on his room, one being a walk in that's pretty large. Up until this point, we had used it for a little bit of everything....my crafts, gifts, memory boxes, you name it! What we really needed though, was a place for the boys to do arts and crafts, aside from our kitchen table. So I had a brilliant idea! Here's the before (okay, that's really a lie. I couldn't let everyone see how bad it really looked!)
That's actually with everything picked off of the floor. I filled three trash bags with trash and donations, plus a crate of scrapbook supplies I gave to the little girl next door!
Then I got busy painting.....
And this is our new arts and crafts space!
All I had to buy was the table and shelves! Mom and I actually found the table at a thrift store in Paris. It was a great deal, so I snagged that bad boy! We came in under $100 for a great space that's used just about daily!
