The Angel Play

Samir's daycare held their "Joy of Christmas" play today (or, as Samir says, the angel play). Samir was a wiseman. Each of the three preschool classrooms picked one wiseman, so I was a mighty proud mama that Samir was picked in his. He memorized his verse, knew the songs, was excited to dress up.....and then sang one song and was silent the rest of the play! He was completely consumed with trying to find me in the audience. Afterward, he even asked if I saw the whole thing!
