Feeding the "Ducklins"

This weekend begins what I hope is the start of some nice weather and not just a tease before we get more snow dumped on us! We've been cooped up for so long, it was hard to figure out what to do first. The ground is completely soggy, so that eliminated the park and our swingset in the backyard. So we chose some driveway bicylce riding before we headed out to a birthday party (Happy Birthday Z!). When we got home, I discovered some expired bread in the pantry (we aren't big sandwich eaters around here...oops). So what do you do before you throw old bread out? You go feed the ducks! Or, as Samir calls them, his ducklins. It never gets old folks!



It was like the preacher giving a sermon.....Samir
just stood there and talked his stuff to the ducks,
and they stood there and listened :)




I just loved this dude's hairdo!



These guys were hungry.....they attacked the
car when we pulled up!
