Lately I've taken a little hiatus from the internet to enjoy this sweet little face
For those of you who don't know, Karim joined us June 20, 2011 at 8:39 a.m. He weighed 8 pounds even and was 19 1/2 inches long. It's safe to say that my labor went exactly opposite as was planned, but it still went smoothly and delivery went off without a hitch. Karim is a healthy boy who is very laid back. He's strong and is already working on neck muscles by lifting his head up on his own. He gives us smiles and particularly loves to listen to Samir talk to him.Speaking of Samir, this has been a difficult transition for him. He's very loving and dotes on Karim, but he has tested his boundaries with us. Things have gotten much better and Samir is realizing that we will give him as much attention as we can, but he is no longer the center of everything. I always ask our family and friends to make sure they say something to Samir first when visiting and that has seemed to help a lot. Here are some of my favorite pictures of my two boys (I really like saying that...makes my heart swell with pride).
