4th of July Getaway

We decided we wanted, needed even, a family getaway. Since the 4th of July was near and Sama would have an extra long weekend, we decided on a whim to go to Branson this weekend. This was our first vacation just us, usually my mom and/or aunt go as well. It was much needed and we had tons of fun. The boys did great driving and staying in the hotel. We chose Welk Resort to stay at because they have an indoor/outdoor waterpark. It allowed Karim and I to hang out at the pool while Daddy and Samir went swimming. We also went to see the "Legends of Kung Fu" based on Samir's recent obsession with Kung Fu Panda. We all enjoyed the show and Samir still talks about the "kung fu guys" and practices his kung fu at home :)
