Summer Fun

The end of the summer is coming closer and closer, and it makes me unhappy for several reasons: I won't be home with Samir all the time, I actually have to effort into my appearance EVERY day, no more impromptu road trips....I think you get the picture! We've been squeezing the last drops of freedom out the past couple of weeks and I thought I'd share some of the pictures with you.
Britney and I took the kiddos to Bentonville to go to Jump Zone, a fun place full of those bounce arounds like at birthday parties. A TOTAL blast! Samir was a little squeamish at first, but that was to be expected. He was hungry and there were a lot of kids running around. After a snack he was good to go!

Coming off a HUGE slide...I loved that thing!

Crawling through a tunnel

Bryleigh, head first

Just hanging out with his Sesame Street friends

We've also managed to squeeze in a few more trips to the park, although it's over 100 degrees most days and completely non conducive to doing ANYTHING outside. Here's a couple pictures from a cooler (as in 95 degrees) day. Needless to say, we weren't there long, but it was long enough for Samir to play.

And he's off!

This particular day I loved the outfit Samir was wearing. I think it was how that blue popped against his skin. Anyway, it clearly called for an impromptu photo shoot in which I borrowed my dear friend's (and neighbor) backyard.

Here's a little smile to add to your day :)
