This weekend we took Samir to Lowe's for their "Build and Grow" workshop. He had so much fun nailing and building a basketball goal! I really liked the set-up of the whole thing. They do one every other Saturday. At your first one, you get an apron with your name tag on it. Then for every project you complete, you get a certificate and a patch to sew on your apron. We saw some kids there with aprons full of patches! You also get the kit to build and your own hammer to keep....and it's all FREE! Needless to say, I think we will be going to many more in our future :)
